Doyum ("we", "us", the "App"), operated by Next App Factory LLC, helps you track nutrition by estimating calories and macros from photos of your meals. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the App, under contract:
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users' safety.
Doyum is free to use and supported by ads shown to users who are not subscribed to Doyum Pro. We use Google AdMob to serve these ads. To show ads and measure their performance, AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (including the Identifier for Advertisers, IDFA), advertising and interaction data, coarse location, and diagnostic information. This may be used to deliver personalized advertising and is considered "tracking" under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
On first launch we ask for your permission before any tracking-based advertising occurs (the App Tracking Transparency prompt) and, where required, we present a consent choice via Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your preference anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. Doyum Pro subscribers see no ads at all.
Your health data stays private: the calories, weight, and nutrition you log are stored securely in your account and are never used for advertising or shared with advertisers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing us. Your account and content are hidden immediately. For 30 days you can restore everything simply by signing back in; after 30 days your account and all associated data are permanently and irreversibly erased from our servers, including photos, videos, and messages.
If you explicitly opt in (Settings → Privacy), we keep the meal photos you scan and the corrections you make so we can improve Doyum's own food recognition. This is off by default. Photos that contain people are never kept, users under 18 are excluded, and these photos and corrections are included in your data export. If you withdraw consent, collection stops immediately and the photos and corrections you contributed are deleted. If you delete your account while your consent is active, contributed photos and corrections may be retained in a de-identified form — with everything that links them to you permanently removed — so they can continue improving food recognition.
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Doyum is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
